Shoei only makes one dirt bike helmet and the VFX-W is it. While this might seem like a strange business strategy at first, a close look at the design shows you that Shoei will be just fine. Not only is Shoei’s typical high level of quality evident throughout, the VFX-W also comes with a lightweight, dual density EPS lined shell and ventilation that really takes advantage of large chin, side and rear vents. The 3D Max-Dry liner is top notch as well and makes sure you stay cool all moto long. Worn by Justin Barcia, Justin Hill and Dean Wilson in supercross and motocross, the VFX-W is clearly race worthy. And in addition to the solid construction, both solid and race replica graphics are offered so you can pick and choose the perfect look for the ride.

• Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus (AIM+) construction combines high performance fibers with organic fibers to create a shell structure that is lightweight, rigid and resilient
• Four shell and five liner sizes present increased fit options that help to comfortably fit most head sizes

• Front intake vents combine with rear vents and a neck outlet vent to maximize flow-through ventilation

• E.Q.R.S (Emergency Quick Release System) features a special tab under the cheek pads which allow them to be easily removed, so the helmet can be quickly taken off by emergency personnel after an accident
• Cheek pads, upper liner and chinstrap covers are easily removed for cleaning and/or replacement
• Cheek pads are available in optional sizes so that each rider can personalize their fit
